Pixie Update #2

Pixie was doing really well until Saturday night when her abdomen filled up with fluid, so back to the ER she went where they were able to drain her and give her some relief. We have had to limit her water intake and she continues to take 6 kinds of medicine each day. Through all of her challenges, she has been a pure delight and seems to be back on the mend. She's eating well, loves her liver treats, aka "dog candy," and will cuddle up to anyone that lets her. Here she is pictured with senior dog Jedi right before going back to the hospital.

With the added costs of surgery and recent ER visit, we have now spent a total of $11,019.77 on Pixie's medical care.

We have received ~$4700 in donations so far to our Special Needs fund to help with these costs and we are extremely grateful to everyone that has been able to help!
