Adoption fees may change due to breed, pedigree, specialty mix breeds, or special needs (behavioral or medical).
If you are wanting to foster before adopting an animal, please fill out our Adoption Application and ask about doing "foster to adopt."

Included in adoption fee:
Spay or Neuter
Current vaccinations
Microchip
Heartworm test for dogs 6 months & older
FIV/FeLV test for all kittens & cats
Current heartworm prevention for dogs 6 months & older
Current flea prevention for all dogs & cats
Free wellness exam within 2 weeks of adoption at one of our participating vets
Properly sized collar & leash for adopted dog
Accepted payment forms:
Cash, check, credit/debit card, and Venmo. All checks should be payable to Pet Placement Center.
Requirements for adoption

The application must be completed in full. Missing information on the application will delay the processing time.

You must be at least 18 years of age. Picture ID may be requested for verification.

You must have a functional source of communication. Any questions about the application are typically emailed unless otherwise specified by the applicant.

We ask that you spend time with the dog or cat you are interested in before completing the adoption.

If you are applying for a dog and already have a dog, a Meet & Greet will be required after the application is approved.
