Elain & Tripp: A Court of Paws and Noses
Hear ye, hear ye! The noble Elain and Tripp of Pet Placement Shire post this notice seeking a noble couch on which they might rest their weary toes. They've traveled long, they've traveled far, and they've carried worries, snacks, and a touch of the ol' FeLV. But they don't care about that, and neither should you.
You see, there were five brave kittens and one stalwart mother. And then, one by one, they were chosen for castles beyond the shire, until all that remained was Elain. And then, one lovely night, Tripp came through and won her heart! And now, courageous adopter, they seek to win yours!
Elain desires to offer the service of warming your head or shoulders in a gentle way whilst bestowing purrs. It is her greatest wish to have her very own head to cuddle. And we are absolutely certain you have a head! But are you willing to have it cuddled? We think the answer might be yes. And also, she loves—and by loves we mean tolerates—dogs, but only those with the freshest of breath.
And Tripp, short for “Trippton Marblepaws,” loves making biscuits and snacking on Churu treats. We have no idea if he likes dogs, but we also don’t know his stance on turnips either and we still like him. Oh, there’s so much to discover about this little marbled being! One thing we do know for certain is that he loves Elain. You see, Tripp was always alone, with no friend or companion, until fate and the folk of Pet Placement Shire, introduced the two kittens, and the sun beamed upon his tiny heart! And now, they wish never to be parted!
Now, about the FeLV. The kittens were born with it, and yes, it makes their adoption a bit riskier, but with risk comes great reward. They've tested their mettle against loneliness, dust bunnies, and FeLV, and in all cases they've come out positive. Their lives may be shorter than most, but they're no less full of love, warmth, and the occasional heroic dust bunny negotiation.
Will you be the one to display the courage and bravery to allow them to join your court? Take a risk, get the reward, fill out the application. Elain and Tripp are ready to come home together.
Please note, by Royal decree: These two must rule as only cats, or share their castle with cats who are FeLV-vaccinated or possibly dogs with fresh breath (their stipulation, not ours). Ask us for details—we promise it's simpler than it sounds.
