Pixie Update #3

Pixie says THANK YOU and so do we!!! Pixie had a liver shunt which is a serious medical condition requiring surgery. Her expenses including scans, medications, and surgery totaled over $11,000...but thanks to our supporters, we were able to raise $11,700 through our Special Needs Fund to cover these costs.

Pixie is doing very well since surgery. She was on 6 medications for a few weeks but is now medication free! She is still on a special diet while her body heals but we can tell she is getting stronger and gaining weight...no more staggering! Pixie was always happy even when she was so weak, so it's nice to know that she truly feels good now.

Thank you for allowing us to help this amazing girl and others with special circumstances just like her!
