Pet Placement Center Raffle Fundraiser

Once again it is Raffle Time at Chattanooga’s oldest no-kill animal shelter. The Annual Raffle is a community-oriented initiative that has helped keep our mission alive as one of our largest fundraisers since the late ‘80s. We are dedicated to continuing this tradition, which assists in providing veterinary care, food and supplies, and provides a safe haven for our animals until adoptive homes are found.

The dogs and cats in our community need us more than ever, which is why we are counting on you for support. Our commitment to homeless animals resulted in the successful placement of 311 dogs and cats last year. We also were able to provide lifesaving procedures and treatments, spay and neuter, and quality daily care. This includes special animals like Calli, a newborn kitten who required extensive care for chronic eye issues; Picasso, a young Spaniel mix who sustained a spinal cord injury after being hit by a car; and Saucy, a young kitten who developed Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) and underwent our first successful treatment of the previously fatal disease. These deserving animals are just a few of the many that we commit to giving happy lives no matter how long their journeys.  This is why your contribution is so valuable!

Each raffle ticket is only $1 and the drawing will be held at the shelter on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024 at 3 PM. You are invited to visit the animals and attend the drawing in person but you do not need to be present to win. All winners will be contacted by phone or email to claim their prize. The 2 people who sell the most tickets will also win a consolation prize.

Participation is easy. You can purchase tickets online, in person, or by phone:

• To purchase your tickets online, just follow the checkout section below. You can buy as many tickets as you want, and we'll do all the hard work for you by putting your name and phone number on each ticket. Your tickets will then be entered into the drawing and if you win, we'll notify you by phone.
• To purchase your tickets in person, you can stop by the shelter anytime 12-5 PM, Wednesday through Sunday.  We can accept cash, check, or debit/credit cards.
• To purchase your tickets by phone, simply call the facility at (423) 877-0738 anytime 12-5 PM, Wednesday through Sunday. We can accept credit/debit card payments over the phone, and a staff member will make sure to get your name and phone number on each ticket.

If you'd like to participate by selling tickets to your coworkers, friends, families, or neighbors, please call the facility at (423) 877-0738 to arrange a pick up of a roll of tickets. We will be giving away a special prize to whoever sells the most tickets!
