Donate & Make a Difference
Pet Placement Center is the oldest, no-kill animal shelter in Chattanooga. Since we are a private 501c(3), we do not contract with any local municipal entities, therefore, we do not receive any government funding. The sole reason our lights keep running is because of you and our wonderful community.
Every last penny goes directly towards keeping the animals safe and healthy. We not only provide a safe and secure shelter, but we also provide medical care for each animal that comes into our doors. Each animal is dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, tested for Heartworms (dogs), FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), and FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). We also provide Flea, Tick, and Heartworm preventative each month for animals in our care, as well as yearly checkups for our long-term animals to make sure they are in peak health. When you add in food, water, and cleaning supplies for our everyday needs, our grand total is vast. All monetary donations are tax-deductible and are used to directly help the pets in our facility.
If you would like to help in a more direct way, we always accept item donations. You can find our Wish List and Enrichment Program items on this page here. Donation items can be brought to the shelter anytime Wed. - Sunday, 12-5 pm.
Monetary Ways to Help
Your donation can provide new toys for our enrichment program or a well-fitted collar for our cats and dogs.
Your donation can feed a dog or cat for 2 weeks, or even provide eye medication for those in need.
Your donation can bottle feed a litter of 4 large puppies for two weeks or a litter of 4 kittens for four weeks.
Your donation can pay for spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming, prevention, and a microchip for a cat or dog.
Your donation can pay for a full course of Heartworm Treatment for a 50lbs dog.
Provide Lifesaving Care
A larger donation can benefit the shelter with much-needed improvements for the safety and well being of our cats and dogs. It can also provide life-saving surgery to those with critical medical care.
